ADDENDUM ANIMATION


                      A Note About the Configuration...

    The configuration file contains the necessary information for the progran
to be able to know the names of the ships, the information about the ships,
and the path to the animation of the ship.  Tekk-Display and the configuration
file have been designed to allow you to add new ships and animations as they
become available.  For each ship entry, three lines of the configuration file
are used, detailing the above information.  Example:

Klingon L-42 (Great Bird) Class IX Frigate
!164M!242M!31M!120,000MT!220!10!2!6 in 2 banks!2f 2a!Warp 8!Warp 9!
DISPLAY:BOP.banm

    The first line must be the name of the ship.  This will be displayed in
the ship listing and on the display screen, identifying the animation.


    The second line contains the information about the ship which is displayed
on the info portion of the display screen.  Including, length, width, etc.
A template for this information is:

!Lgth!Wdth!Hght!Wght!Crew!Passengers!Shuttle!Beam!Missle!Cruise!Emergency!

**You must be sure that the separate pieces of information are separated by
exclamation points.  This is how the program separates the various entries.**
    The third line contains the path information for the file.  This must be
accurate for the program to work properly, as must the information and format
of the second line.  If you are experiencing an error, this is the most
probable location for the problem!
    At the bottom of the configuration file are three lines:

END OF LIBRARY
!Lgth!Wdth!Hght!Wght!Crew!Passengers!Shuttle!Beam!Missle!Cruise!Emergency!
END OF LIBRARY

    These lines must always appear at the end of the config!  They also
contain the template that may help you if you have to enter information in
the future.


                        Future Animations...

    New animations may be released in the future.  In this case, they will
be distributed in archives containing the new animation and the two line
configuration entry.  You need only to place this animation in the
appropriate place and insert the two lines of text into your config file, as
well as, the path for the animation, as the third inserted line!
